Why Use GPSxCAD?
Traditional process of field data collection is time consuming and prone to error. Field collection of data on paper maps and GPS requires manual entry and data processing to be entered into the GIS database. The result is GIS data that is out of date and inaccurate.
GPSxCAD allows geographic information to be collected in the field and to be instantly updated into the GIS database. GIS data can be simultaneously collected and field verified. Information from the field can be sent to the enterprise for real-time information analysis, display and decision making.

How Does GPSxCAD Work?
GPSxCAD links your GPS to AutoCAD. Plug your GPS into a portable laptop or Tablet PC running AutoCAD and capture GPS locations. With GPS reception the program displays your current location on top of your existing GIS/CAD maps and aerial photography. Easy to use AutoCAD commands capture points and linear features and provide real-time navigation and GPS satellite information.
What Does GPSxCAD Do?
GSPxCAD will easily capture points, lines and polylines in the field.The real-time navigation (moving map) feature tracks and displays your current location. GPSxCAD provides a continuous streaming (GPS) location to AutoCAD, which is available to all AutoCAD commands. GeoProjector
GeoProjector is a geographic coordinate conversion extension for AutoCAD. This program plugs into AutoCAD. This program allows the user to select objects, select objects by layers or reproject the entire drawing. Program also allows the user to import and export points.
