ProVector Series Maps

The professionals first choice in vector maps for AutoCAD.

These maps are based upon the USGS 1:24,000 series Quad maps. The maps contain the same level of precision as the printed maps. The map features are organized with a simple and easy to use layering system. The maps contain the following data categories.

Why Our Contours are Better than the Competition

Better Data
We start with better data. Other companies us less accurate and cheaper data sources to produce contours. The sources we use are cleaned and filtered to remove data errors. Vertical resolution of the data is 1 decimeter (about 4 inches) compared to 1 meter (39 inches) used by other vendors.

Better Software
We also use a more advanced contour generation program and a higher resolution grid network. This process produces contours that more accurately represent the terrain.

Smaller Contour Intervals
Because we start with better data and use better software we can produce contours at smaller intervals. Our competition recommends 40 foot contours and not less than 20 foot. Our standard product is 10 foot contours and we can provide contour intervals of 5 foot.

Contours are Generated in AutoCAD
Our contours are generated in AutoCAD. Contour lines are smooth with long continuous sections. The index contours are labeled with an AutoCAD line type so lines remain unbroken. Because the lines are smooth and continuous are contour maps produce superior 3D surface Models.
